AIRPORTS
If you are traveling to Teach Better 2022 by plane, you have two options for airports to fly into.
Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport
(CLE)
The CLE airport is about a 45 minute drive to Akron, but it’s a fairly easy drive on freeways. CLE is a major international hub, so you’ll almost always have a wide variety of flights to choose from. This makes it likely a better choice than CAK for most, but it is also about 20 minutes further from Akron, so we suggest checking flights to CAK first.
Akron-Canton Airport
(CAK)
The CAK airport is about a 25 minute drive to Akron. Just grab I-77 North to OH-8 North. This is a much smaller airport than CLE, but you can usually find plenty of flights to most major cities. Bonus is that the terminal is small and easy to navigate so going through security and getting bags from baggage claim are both typically quick and easy.
